My birth time isn't exact — will the reading still work?
Yes, with a caveat. The closer to the minute, the more reliable your lagna (ascendant) and divisional charts will be. If your birth time is rounded to the nearest hour or unknown, Hey Gaargi will compute a solar chart and clearly label which inferences depend on time precision. You can also use our birth-time rectification flow — it asks four to six life-event questions and proposes a refined time. Find it under Settings → Birth details.
My chart looks wrong. The planets are in different houses than another app says.
Check the ayanāṁśa — Hey Gaargi defaults to Lahirī (Citrapakṣa), the official Government of India ayanāṁśa. Some apps use Rāman, KP, or Krishnamurti, which will shift planets by a few degrees.
I want to delete my account and all my data.
From the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. The action is irreversible and completes within seven days. We retain only what we are legally required to (transaction records under the Income-Tax Act and CGST Act — see our Privacy Policy). You can also email privacy@heygaargi.com to request deletion in writing.
I was charged and I want a refund.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. The short version: an unused pack is refundable within 48 hours minus the actual payment-gateway fee, failed answers restore your credits automatically, and there are no recurring charges — ever. To start a refund, email billing@heygaargi.com with your order ID.
Is Hey Gaargi available outside India?
Yes — Hey Gaargi works worldwide. Ask Gaargi starts at ₹30 for one consultation, billed in INR with applicable GST for Indian customers; international cards are supported at the INR price. Refer to Pricing for details.
Does Gaargi tell me to do pūjās or buy gemstones?
No. We are an information service, not a remedy-marketplace. Gaargi will explain classical remedies when they are part of the tradition you are reading, but we do not sell them, and we do not push them. If you want to pursue a remedy, that's a conversation for a teacher you trust in person.
03Reporting abuse or unlawful content
If you encounter content on Hey Gaargi that you believe violates Indian law or our Terms of Service, please file a report through our Grievance Redressal channel. Reports of child sexual abuse material, non-consensual imagery, or impersonation are prioritised and acknowledged within 24 hours; we act within 15 days as required by the IT Rules 2021.
