The rules behind the "Refer a friend" reward in the app — what you earn, what your friend needs to do, and when we can withhold or change it.

01How it works

Every account gets a personal invite link from Refer a friend. A reward requires 2 of your referred friends to each complete 2 separate paid consultations — not just sign up. Once both friends hit that mark, you are credited 1 free consultation automatically. There is no limit on how many friends you can invite, but rewards earned through referrals are capped at 3 free consultations per calendar month.

We deliberately size the reward below what your friends actually pay in: 2 friends × 2 consultations means at least ₹120 in real payments happen before you earn one ₹30 consultation. This keeps the program sustainable and discourages gaming it.

02Eligibility

• Both accounts must be real, individually-owned accounts belonging to different people. Self-referral (a second account, device, or payment method you control) does not qualify.
• Your friend must be a new user — a phone number or account that has ever completed a paid consultation before does not trigger a reward.
• The reward is credited to whichever account's link was used at signup; it cannot be reassigned afterward.

03What the reward is — and isn't

The free consultation is a service credit, redeemable only inside Hey Gaargi. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or withdrawn, and — like all promotional credits — is non-refundable (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).

04Fraud and abuse

Before crediting a reward, we hold it for review (typically 48 hours) and check for signals including: the same card, UPI ID, wallet, device, or IP shared between you and the referred friends; rapid, back-to-back sign-ups; and duplicate identities. Flagged referrals are held for manual review rather than credited automatically.

If a referral is found to be fraudulent — including self-referral through a second account, family member, or shared payment instrument used to simulate independent friends — we may withhold or reverse the reward and, for repeated abuse, suspend the accounts involved under our Terms of Service.

05Changes to the program

We may change the reward amount, eligibility rules, or end the program at any time, with notice in the app. Rewards already credited to your balance before a change are honoured; they are never clawed back for a program change alone.

06Related policies

This program sits alongside, and does not override, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your friend's sign-up and payment are governed by those same documents.
