What a Hey Gaargi reading is — and, perhaps more importantly, what it is not. Especially when life, health, money, or relationships are involved.

01Astrology is for guidance and reflection

Hey Gaargi is an interpretive service rooted in the classical jyotiṣa tradition. The readings we offer — birth charts, daśā analysis, transit forecasts, and compatibility scores — are intended to support reflection, self-understanding, and personal exploration. They are offered for educational, cultural, and entertainment purposes.

Astrology is not a science recognised by the modern scientific community. Predictions on Hey Gaargi are interpretive and are not guarantees of any outcome. Your free will, your effort, and the actions of others always matter more than any chart.

02Not a substitute for professional advice

You agree that you will not use a Hey Gaargi reading as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Specifically:

  • Medical & mental health — Gaargi cannot diagnose, treat, or cure any illness. If you are unwell, please consult a qualified medical doctor. If you are in mental distress or having thoughts of suicide, please contact iCall (9152987821), Vandrevala Foundation (1860-2662-345), or another qualified mental-health service immediately.
  • Legal — Astrology does not constitute legal counsel. Consult an advocate before relying on any reading for legal decisions.
  • Financial & investment — Readings about wealth, business, or stock markets are reflective, not advisory. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Do not buy, sell, or invest based on a chart.
  • Marriage, divorce, custody — Compatibility readings (Aṣṭa-kūṭa, Daśa-kūṭa, manglik analysis) describe traditional Vedic concepts. They must not be the sole basis for proceeding with — or refusing — a marriage, divorce, or any decision involving children.
  • Employment — Career or job timing readings are not labour-market forecasts.

03No prediction is a guarantee

You acknowledge that astrological predictions are probabilistic interpretations, not deterministic outcomes. Two skilled astrologers reading the same chart may draw different conclusions. Different schools of jyotiṣa (Parāśarī, Jaiminī, Nāḍī, K.P., etc.) may give different timings for the same event. Hey Gaargi's predictions reflect a particular interpretive tradition (primarily Parāśarī with Lahirī ayanāṁśa); other traditions are equally valid.

04Accuracy depends on your inputs

The accuracy of any chart depends on the precision of the birth date, birth time, and birth place you provide. A birth time off by ten minutes can shift the lagna across a sign, materially changing the reading. Hey Gaargi does not verify these inputs. You bear responsibility for the accuracy of what you submit.

05We do not sell remedies

Hey Gaargi does not sell gemstones, yantras, rudrākṣas, pūjās, or any other remedial product or service. If Gaargi describes a classical remedy associated with a chart, it is described — not prescribed and not sold. Where a remedy involves significant cost (gemstones, custom yantras, pūjās performed by third parties), please consult a teacher you trust in person and do not rely on a chat readout.

06AI-assisted readings

Hey Gaargi's chat responses are generated with the assistance of large language models that draw on classical jyotiṣa texts and astronomical libraries. Like all AI systems, they can be wrong. They may misread a śloka, misapply a rule, or invent a plausible-sounding but incorrect interpretation ("hallucinate"). We work hard to reduce this — every prediction is anchored to a deterministically-computed chart and we show our calculations — but we cannot eliminate it.

When stakes are high, please cross-check with a qualified human professional in the relevant field rather than relying solely on an AI-generated reading. Hey Gaargi is a fully AI-driven service — we do not employ or connect you with human astrologers.

07Cultural respect

Jyotiṣa is a sacred tradition for many users. Some content may reference deities, mantras, and rituals from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions, as well as classical Vedic scholarship. We aim to handle these with care and accuracy. If you encounter content that misrepresents a tradition you know well, please write to us — corrections are taken seriously.

08No predictions about third parties

You should not use Hey Gaargi to make predictions about, or decisions concerning, third parties (a spouse, a colleague, a relative, a public figure) without their knowledge and consent. Predictions concerning the death, illness, or misfortune of named individuals are not provided and any attempt to obtain them will be declined.

09Acceptance

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Disclaimer, and you accept the inherent limitations of astrology as a domain. This Disclaimer is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Final note from us.

Use astrology the way you would use a thoughtful conversation with an old friend — for context, perspective, and the occasional nudge. Do not use it to outsource your judgement. Trust the people who love you, the professionals who are trained for the question, and your own deeper sense of what is right.
