Nakṣatra 26 of 27
Uttara Bhadrapada (उत्तरभाद्रपद) nakshatra
01Traditional associations
The star of the depths. Natives are deep, patient, and mystically inclined. Excellent for meditation and counselling.
02Why it matters in a chart
The nakshatra the Moon occupied at birth is your janma nakshatra. Its ruling graha (Saturn for Uttara Bhadrapada) is the lord of the first period in the Vimśottarī daśā sequence, and how far the Moon had travelled through it sets how much of that first period remained at birth — one reason an accurate birth time matters.
A nakshatra is not a reading
These associations are classical and general. What they mean for a person depends on the whole chart — the lagna, the house involved, and the condition of Saturn.
